I wasn’t mad at the Balmung server lock when it happened, because something like that makes sense during an expansion launch, but this is just unbelievably frustrating for it to have gone on so long.   Even if it’s only a temporary lift, please allow us to transfer in our characters again.  

Not only would you make bank from all the transfers, but you might make new sales, too – I’ve had several friends from other games inquire about playing FFXIV since I’m so into it, but the conversation ends quickly when I tell them that we can’t play together because of the lock, and I’m not willing to give up the things it’s taken me a YEAR to build up to start over on another server with a less active community.

Those that were willing to leave Balmung because they weren’t here for the RP, or that were brave enough to start up Mateus’s community, left months ago.  The rest of us probably aren’t leaving no matter what you offer.  Please quit locking us away from everyone else.

This
