I think Coultenet sums it up best. A healer can only do so much, and much of what a healer can do depends on the healer. However, there seem to be a few general rules:
Restorative magicks (such as Cure or Physick) mend physical wounds, knit flesh, close cuts.
Spells like Esuna or Leeches cleanse humours, remove ailments, and can treat the root cause of symptoms.
More severe injuries and maladies require long-term, often non-magical, care. A healer can only heal for so long.
I included lore for certain White Magic spells (or succor) below and further down I also briefly covered a Scholar’s and Faerie’s ability to cleanse ailments and diseases. I make specific mention of these two jobs because their abilities appear to transcend well beyond the capabilities of any modern magical or non-magical healing methods available to the vast majority of Eorzea’s population. Given the rarity of these two jobs in lore, it’s not surprising that their ability to more quickly, if not instantly, mend most wounds is nothing short of miraculous, as Rakusa Farusa puts it.

So I’m switching things up a lil I’m still doing $10 headshots, but I need to do alot more than 30.
As I’ve said mum recently fell and fractured her arm in the shoulder joint, normally they’d pin it but because of the chemo that would be risky and potentially fatal.
This also means mum can’t sleep in her bed, she;s sat up in our couch atm that we’ve had for 10 years, it was second hand before we got it. The bottom is falling out and it’s not very comfortable. We planned on replacing it next year, but she needs something better sooner. Because at the moment she’s essentually tarpped there. She can’t get up or down without help. Which means I’m getting ill too because I am too scared to sleep or be away from her too long. (Atm I have to lock myself away with the dog so he doesn’t get lonely and can’t jump on mum making things worse.
I need ATLEAST £350 for a riser and recliner chair. This would mean she can comfortably sleep but also help her get up easier without much help. (They lift and lean to assist getting on your feet.)
